The first ever ice
climbing speed record for men is 9.593 seconds
needed to climb a 15 meters vertical ice wall and was established by the russian
climber PAVEL BATUSHEV (see video).
The female record
of 19.3090 seconds was established by NATALYA
KULIKOVA.
20 athletes
participated in the contest that allowed each ahtlete ten attempts. The
competition was extremely dynamic and the first three athletes were in the end
separated by only 0.349 seconds.

The qualifications ended yesterday. We had more than 200 singular users in the same time watching the Live Stream. 16 men are now competing in the semifinal. At 14h the Final for women will begin and at 17 h 8 men will compete for the big prize, one thousand euro. Watch now!
